Following an inspection by referee referee Jarnail Singh the frozen pitch at London Road was deemed unplayable and the match was called off.
"There was snow on the pitch overnight, but temperatures were set to be around zero, however they dropped to -5 causing parts of the pitch to be frozen," the match official said.
"There was no way the pitch was going to be ready for 3pm, so the game had to be postponed, particularly as the temperatures did not rise as forecast on Saturday morning."
