The Football Association are looking into the mass brawl which followed Tuesday night's npower League One match between Peterborough and Notts County at London Road. Players and staff from both sides confronted each other on the touchline leading to a melee at the entrance of the tunnel following County's 3-2 win. Tensions had been high in a bad-tempered affair which saw Posh midfielder Grant McCann shown a straight red card and County's Ricky Ravenhill later receiving his marching orders for two yellow cards. The FA have confirmed to Press Association Sport that they will consult with the match officials before deciding whether to take any action. County manager Craig Short said afterwards: "Both clubs are bound to be reprimanded for what took place."
