Posh found themselves a goal behind at Deepdale within the first eight minutes and the home side doubled their advantage on the half hourmark to record a 2-0 success at Deepdale on Saturday afternoon.

"I spoke about before the game - concentration, especially at the start of the game," the Posh boss said after the match.

"They got an early goal in the eighth minute and that make's it hard at Preston.

"Obviously then it goes to two and we get back at them a little bit and get in behind them.

"But we couldn't really break them down, especially after they went to five in midfield."
