Posh striker Craig Mackail-Smith has won the player of the month award.
Mackail-Smith netted six times in February, taking his tally for the season to 24, with 19 coming in League Two matches.
Ferguson returned for his second spell at the club in January, with the club fifth in League One.
They have been free scoring recently, grabbing 21 goals throughout February and are now up to fourth, five points adrift of an automatic promotion place.
Ferguson beat off Bournemouth's Lee Bradbury, Russell Slade at Leyton Orient and Southampton boss Nigel Adkins to the accolade.
While Mackail-Smith overcame Saints striker Rickie Lambert, Brighton frontman Glenn Murray and Leyton Orient midfielder Jimmy Smith.
