New Peterborough manager Gary Johnson believes the squad will benefit from experiencing relegation this season. Johnson has set his sights on an instant return to the Championship next year and is confident that not only will Posh soon be back in the second tier, they will be competing at the right end of the table. He said: "The players are out there, they're the ones that you've got to get ready for the Championship. "They've had the experience of this year. It will look like a bad experience because they got relegation but it's still experience none the less. "So if we do get back there, they'll know what to expect next time and the club will because the first aim of myself and the club is to get back to the Championship and then the second aim is not to consolidate there but to compete at that level. "If you're competing at that level then you've got this club there or there abouts and you could have that very good, very lucky year where all of a sudden you find yourself close to that promised land."
